These are the same old

These are the same old anti-sex arguments that are thrown at BDSM every single time, just with an "anarchist" and "anti-civilization" twist this time. The simple fact is that civilization (work, patriarchy, etc) is not a consentual in any way, and therefore is not comparable to BDSM. Playing with roles to get off and to rid them of their power is not oppressive or civilized, no matter how many times the author says it is. And he is obviously oblivious to the amount of genderfucking and role subversion that accompanies BDSM at times.

Most importantly, what people do consentually to get off is no business of anyone else.
