Infinite Relationships: Relationships without bounds or boundaries, love without limits, without ends

infiniterelationships-1.jpg

This is a re-made version of the older zine, "Infinite Relationships", about open relationships/polyamory. The older version that's online ended up looking worn and photocopied, so I typed up the text, created a new layout, added some resources for further reading, explained where the zine originated, and made a new front and back cover. Enjoy, distribute, and discuss with your communities!

Magic and Happiness

magicandhappinessimposed-1.jpg

"Happiness and Magic" is a short essay by Italian theorist Giorgio Agamben, which has been formatted into a Zine. Agamben's work on biopolitics and bare life have heavily influenced Tiqqun, The Invisible Committee, Insurrectionist Anarchism, as well as wider currents of Leftist and Anti-Authoritarian academics. It is a poetic and novel way of approaching the subject shortcoming of structuring life around capitalist logic, as well as the joys of desubjectification.  read more »

Cheap Shots, Ambushes and Other Lessons: A Down and Dirty Book on Streetfighting by Marc "Animal" MacYoung

Cheap Shots, Ambushes, and Other Lessons - Marc Animal MacYoung-1.jpg

Before there was reality based self-defense, there was this book. The first book Marc MacYoung, fresh off the streets of Los Angeles, ever penned. Outrageous, raunchy, down and dirty, it is loaded with information about what it takes to survive long enough to get out of the street lifestyle. And it's information you won't get in a martial arts class.

Described by Iron Horse Magazine as "like pulling up a chair and a six pack with an old friend. A very twisted and dangerous old friend," this book pioneered the genre of ex-streetfighters explaining what it takes to survive.  read more »

Beyond the Ruins of the Creative City: Berlin’s Factory of Culture and the Sabotage of Rent

by Matteo Pasquinelli

Quote:

"Throughout Berlin and the whole of Europe, we are witnessing the condensation of a peculiar form of cultural capital as the leading force behind real estate and the ‘creative cities’ strategy of city councils eager to attract both investments and highly skilled workers. As a result, the real estate business, has established a perverse machinery in alliance with the art world  read more »

Never Work

Never Work

When Guy Debord of the Situationist International graffitied the slogan “Never Work!” onto the walls of a Parisian street in 1953, he struck a blow in solidarity with the radical current of left communism which locates the wage-labour relation as the central pillar of capitalist relations and therefore the prime locus of attack. It is, of course, a banality that we need to work in order to produce for our basic needs. But what is at question here is the naure of that work, for whom, andto what end? Useful work? Or useless toil?

frugal christmas edition-1.jpg

Justice Bicycle is a monthly zine committed to the art of truth and truthiness. By using found objects, drawings, short stories and photographs the boundaries between what is original and what is appropriated become blurred. Zines are distributed for free by leaving them in unexpected or odd places, this forces the finder to either steal or leave the zine for someone else. The Justice Bicycle zine is a small part of a larger project by the same name which uses a variety of media to incite a private response within the viewer.
