Black Autonomous Movements: New Dynamics in Black Liberation

A zine version of a new essay by politicized prisoner Robert "Saleem" Holbrook.

Explores the emergence of a new dynamic in the Black Liberation struggle that has developed since COINTELPRO: a growing tendency toward local, decentralized, grassroots movements. Offers analysis of this tendency and ultimately challenges the Black Liberation movement to move more in the direction of autonomy from charismatic leaders, non-profits, centralized decision-making and the state. An important addition to non-European anti-authoritarian theory.
