TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF - A brief guide for injection drug users

This is a booklet that has been put together by a group in Arizona who is concerned with the safety of intravenous drug users. The current laws in AZ make it illegal to exchange needles to prevent the spread of blood-borned diseases. State funding for Hepatitis C has been entirely cut, affirming that the state doesn't care about you if you're an intravenous drug user (or any person, for that matter). In an effort to advocate for the legal exchange of syringes and for the mental and physical well-being of intravenous drug users, we've put together this small booklet that covers vein rotation, veins vs. arteries & nerves, what to do if someone overdoses, and abscess prevention and care. We can rely on each other and keep each other safe if we know what we're doing. This booklet should be printed double-sided and folded twice to create a little book!
